Kira Kearney
Occupational Therapist
Kira graduated with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2022. She has pediatric experience in outpatient, home, and community-based settings. Kira takes pride in using a strengths-based, neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed approach to therapy, putting play and connection at the forefront of her treatment sessions. Kira has specialty training in sensory integration, reflex integration, supporting individuals with Pathological Demand Avoidance, Brain Gym, and the use of therapeutic music modalities to support regulation, movement and executive functioning. She has additional experience implementing Handwriting Without Tears, Bal-A-Vis-X, and the Get Permission approach to feeding. Kira values providing client and family centered care through a playful and motivating environment! Outside of work, she loves to explore new places and restaurants, listen to live music, and spend time with her family and friends.
